"Pay no Attention to the Man behind the Curtain"

By Dina Dove

Remember that line from the Wizard of Oz? It was right before Dorothy and the others discovered that the ‘great and powerful wizard’ was just an ordinary man with no special powers.

However, he was able to give Dorothy the information that would lead her home.

Then Dorothy had to summon up the smallest amount of faith, click her heels three times, and she was home.

So, I would say…. “Pay no attention to the dismal financial news of the day.” It does not have to be your fate.

Even if you have overspent and mismanaged your money in the past, you can still find your way home. It will take a little more that 3 clicks of your heels. However, if you can follow simple instructions and are willing to change your mind about money, you will be surprised how quickly you will see improvement in both your outlook and your bottom line.

For instance, you can make a 10% change by developing just one simple habit; keeping track of everything you purchase.

Statistics show that people, who log all their purchases, spend an average of 10% less per month than those who do not. Just writing them down makes you conscious of your spending and that awareness leads to behavior modification.

There are other easy ways to get yourself free, but you have to admit that finding an extra 10% to pay some of those looming bills is a good place to start.

So, go ahead and click your heels together three times…. right before you find a notebook and log in what you bought today.

What is this about writing everything down? Oh yeah... It works... Maybe someday, I'll actually start doing it...

Oh Dina... You just gave the plot away to the "Wizard of Oz". I'm shattered... :)

Sorry about that. LOL

Sometimes,we can't see the woods for the trees, Dina. Thank you for sharing this valuable information. A small coffee and a muffin is $3.06, times 5 days a week is,$15.30, times 52 weeks is, $795.60. That might help someone's budget and their waistline, if they gave up this habit!
Best wishes.

You sound like a man after my own heart. you know HarryTurtle has a program that you may like to add to your mix if you are aspassionate about financial literacy as I am.

Great Intel I just wish I would remember to write everything down.

I looked at Harry Turtle.com and I found it very interesting.

Take a look at this video and let me know what you think.

Thanks for your comments. Bill, I think my site works much like the one you asked me to watch the video on. I watched part of it but only started into the second part.

Are you a successful affiliate marketer?

Are you a successful affiliate marketer?

What do you consider successful?

Well, I would say you are having some success if you are having monthly income from the affiliate programs you promote. If you're bringing in $300 it is a start and $1-$3000 is momentum and supporting yourself entirely thru affiliate marketing of yours and other products to be very successful. Which category are you in?

Thank you for your kind reply, Dina. I'll check out Harry Turtle and get back to you soon.
Best to you.
